The overall objective of Haytnir.am online whistleblowing platform is to promote the fight against corruption in Armenia, to get public support in the fight against corruption, to support the improvement of the whistleblowing system, to contribute to the change of the legal thinking and culture formed among the public in Armenia regarding whistleblowers, striving to create a positive and demanding image of the whistleblower as a citizen of Armenia. 

The specific objectives of the platform are:

-        to register, accept and channel the applications submitted by the whistleblower about the violation or other offenses related to the corruption case of the competent state bodies, or the conflict of interest of the public servant, or the rules of conduct, or incompatibility requirements or other restrictions, or declaration and ensure their processing,

-        on the basis of the information provided by whistleblowers, anonymously or through revealing identity, regarding the problems existing in the anti-corruption and whistleblowing fields, to identify and implement evidence based reforms,

-        to inform whistleblowers and the general public about the whistleblowing system, measures for the protection of the whistleblowers' rights and legal guarantees, to inform about the latest news in the field.

Haytnir.am online whistleblowing platform is operated by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association. The platform has been developed in the framework of the “Multifaceted Whistle-Blowing Promotion in Armenia” project implemented with the support of the European Union and the “Open Government Partnership Europe” Foundation. The project is implemented by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association.

The Armenian Lawyers’ Association is the copyright holder of the methodology of the platform.
